YANMAR partners with German NORIS for innovative marine engine controls
Commercial Marine business unit at YANMAR Europe (YEU) has entered into a successful partnership with NORIS Group GmbH from Nuremberg in Germany as a strategic partner for alarm and monitoring panels and controls. NORIS is one of the leading specialists in the fields of measuring and automation for various industries, including shipbuilding.
Japanese quality further enhanced with custom local controls
YANMAR’s medium-speed marine diesel engines combine high-quality Japanese manufacture with innovative, European operation panels, delivered by NORIS as a single source supplier. The systems include customised built-in software and optional panels for remotely controlling performance indicators, like engine speed, and start-stop functions, monitoring alarms and other parameters. Since 2016, already 40 systems have been delivered.
