One of the mottos of Yanmar’s founder Magokichi Yamaoka was: ‘to conserve fuel is to serve mankind’. In this spirit, Yanmar is dedicated to preserving the environment wherever we can. In order to reduce energy consumption, Yanmar has built and implemented own on-premise energy system. This system generates heat and electricity based on gas input, so that we are self-supporting where we can and need less electricity from the electricity grid. In addition, energy sufficient lighting has been implemented in the production and parts warehouses.
